The Food Corporation of Bhutan Limited (FCBL) inaugurated its newly constructed National Strategic Food Reserve Warehouse in Nganglam today, marking a significant milestone in the nation's ongoing efforts to strengthen food security and supply chain resilience. With a storage capacity of 1,500 metric tonnes, the state-of-the-art facility is strategically positioned to serve as a vital storage and distribution hub for essential food commodities, ensuring reliable access for communities across Pemagatshel, Mongar, and Lhuntse Dzongkhags. Designed to enhance operational efficiency and logistical responsiveness, the warehouse will play a crucial role in safeguarding national food reserves and strengthening the supply chain network across eastern Bhutan.
