Today, the Western Regional Office in Phuentsholing convened an Agricultural Export Facilitation Meeting, bringing together key stakeholders to discuss preparations for the opening of the Export Season 2026. The meeting outlined strategic frameworks to ensure a structured and efficient start to the season. Key areas of focus included participation criteria for buyers in the auction process, security deposit requirements, and measures to streamline credit systems. Discussions also covered critical operational priorities such as export compliance protocols, GST considerations, and standardized payment mechanisms, including INR and RTGS transactions. Participants further deliberated on resolving outstanding credit from 2025 to ensure a smooth and transparent transition into the upcoming export season.
